Peer Review Policy
1. Purpose of Peer Review
The peer review process ensures the publication of high-quality, original research that meets the academic and ethical standards of the *Emmanuel Alayande University of Education Journal of Multidisciplinary Studies (EAUE-JMS)*. It evaluates the validity, significance, and originality of submissions to foster scholarly contributions across disciplines.
2. Review Process Overview
The journal employs a double-blind peer review system to maintain objectivity and impartiality. Neither the authors nor the reviewers know each other’s identities during the review process.
3. Steps in the Peer Review Process
1. Submission Acknowledgment:
- Authors receive confirmation upon successful manuscript submission.
- The editorial team screens submissions for adherence to journal guidelines, relevance to the journal's scope, and originality using plagiarism detection tools.

- The editor evaluates the submission’s suitability for peer review.

6. Communication with Authors:
- Authors receive reviewers comments along with the editor’s decision.
- Revised manuscripts are re-evaluated for compliance with reviewer and editorial feedback.
4. Reviewer Guidelines
- Reviewers are expected to:
- Maintain confidentiality of manuscripts and related communications.
- Provide objective and constructive feedback.
- Disclose any conflicts of interest.

5. Conflict of Interest
All parties (authors, reviewers, editors) must disclose potential conflicts of interest that could affect their impartiality during the peer review process. Editors will address disclosed conflicts and ensure fairness.
6. Appeals and Complaints
Authors may appeal editorial decisions by submitting a written request to the editor-in-chief, providing justification for reconsideration. Appeals will be reviewed by an independent editor or reviewer.
7. Ethical Standards
The peer review process adheres to the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Misconduct such as plagiarism, duplicate submissions, or falsification of data will result in rejection and may be reported to the author’s institution.
8. Timelines
EAUED-JMS aims to complete the peer review process within 68 weeks from manuscript submission. Delays will be communicated to authors promptly.
9. Acknowledgment of Reviewers
